amine recycling
About us
The TRG Cyclamin GmbH was founded in 1994 in Schriesheim, Baden, Germany. In 1994 and 1995, the technological foundations were laid for a new regeneration process for special amines used in COLD BOX procedures in foundries. Relocation to Schönebeck took place in 1996. We moved there to set up a production plant which would mainly focus on amine recycling, using our own, in-house patented process.
The set up was funded by support programmes including EU-Life and TOU (foundation of technology-oriented companies), with special emphasis being given to the ecological and cost-effective advantages of the process. Towards the end of 1997, the first amines were extracted in accordance with specifications and our company quickly advanced to become European market leader. Today we provide a comprehensive service which includes consultancy on the optimisation of amine scrubbers, the supply of scrubbing solutions (sulphuric acid) and a system for the voluntary acceptance of returned goods in accordance with §26 KrWG (German Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act).
One decisive factor in our development was a very close, service-oriented relationship with our customers, who are mainly foundries and foundry-chemistry companies. We at TRG Cyclamin GmbH still see ourselves as a developing, technology-oriented company. We are certificated and validated for ISO 9001 and 14001 and EMAS III.
Our production has been continuously expanded to include new products. The starting points for this expansion were always the finding of solutions for our customers’ problems. Some of our newer products are catalytic regeneration, the drying of solids in our mixer kneader dryer, separation of substances by means of rectification and crystallisation and modifiers for epoxy resins and PU resins (the latter are sold by our Business Unit TINGO modifiers.
